It continues to be a privilege to work in partnership with Heartland Hospice to provide Reiki treatments for patients and families since March 2011.  Whether recipients are in the home or a medical facility there have been positive comments following a Reiki treatment.

• Very relaxed….feet relaxed.  Felt good on the feet.
• It felt very good.  Don’t understand it but enjoy it!
• Took a nice nap.

Caregivers and families consistently remark that they (caregivers/families) and the patient sleep more peacefully after receiving a Reiki treatment.  Additional benefits mentioned:

• More relaxed.
• Decrease in anxiety.

Reiki is a non-invasive therapy which works well with all medical procedures and for the end-of-life journey of the patient.
